The Story of Seizure Triggers
Environmental toxins, food additives, dyes, potent smells; could these be triggers for you? They are for me. In this book, I share some hidden seizure triggers that my husband Dan and I had never heard about. I share my personal discovered triggers as well as others people have shared with us.
We offer ideas on how to avoid and exclude these possible triggers from your life decreasing the probability of actually having a seizure. Do these triggers affect each of us the same way? No. Could knowing about them possibly help you avoid having a seizure? Yes.
I have olfactory (smell) triggered seizures; a type of epilepsy called "reflex epilepsy". Not common, but maybe because it is not well known. According to a recent study, olfactory function in epilepsy has not been thoroughly studied. Join us in the fight against epilepsy and unmask triggers that others may not know about.
